Megan and her three children, Shannon, Alexander and Joseph are Habitat’s partner family for this home.

This home started with the beginning of the 2009-10 school year. It was built by the Pellston High School Building Trades class in cooperation with Northwest Habitat for Humanity.

This home was a cooperative venture between Northwest Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial For Lutherans. Thrivent provided 65% of the funding with the remaining coming from local fund-raising.

The Church Hammers will build a house in Alanson this summer with the goal of closing up the house before winter and finishing the work by next summer. We will need skilled help from the community plus the Church Hammers. Work bees are planned for Saturdays plus one day midweek.
